Initiative for petroleum industry focused geomatics development and commercialization
TECTERRA and PTAC have been engaged in identifying and supporting the introduction of new geomatics technologies that would have the greatest positive impact on the petroleum industry. Input from the petroleum industry, geomatics experts and government was provided through a series of workshops, resulting in the following highest-value opportunities:
· Geomatics enabled analytics and decision support systems
· Mobile geomatics
· Geomatics related sensor technologies
· Water resource monitoring and management: wetlands and
hydrological mapping, drainage analysis, etc.
· Detection of leaks and spills from oil and gas storage facilities and
pipelines, particularly on water and on ice
· Ground deformation measurement and monitoring
TECTERRA and PTAC are pleased to announce a Call for Proposals (CFP) for the development and commercialization of innovative geomatics
technology for the petroleum industry.
The focus for any project funded under this initiative should align with one of the technology and/or application areas listed above. However, any application with a petroleum industry focus will be considered.
There are currently no Calls for Proposals open at this time. Please check back at a later date.
