The Canadian Geomatics Conference (CGC) 2010 was a resounding success!
TECTERRA worked collaboratively with major national geomatics organizations to organize the first Canadian Geomatics Conference (CGC) which took place in Calgary on June 15 – 18, 2010; coinciding with TECTERRA’s Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The CGC 2010 conference attracted over 400 participants, about 175 presentations, 30 companies and 20 exhibitors. The theme of the conference – Shaping Canada’s Competitive Landscape – set the tone for a series of presentations and workshops, and facilitated round table discussions about the actions and strategies needed to unleash the power of geomatics for integrated resource management.
TECTERRA presented its business model and first Call for Proposals to a wide range of Canadian geomatics companies.
